Nana’s recipe
8 chicken breasts
8 slices swiss cheese, medium thickness
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
sour cream
2 cups seasoned stuffing mix—not cubes (Pepperidge Farms is the best)
1/3 cup melted butter
1. Put chicken in shallow baking dish; 9x13 works best
2. Place one slice of swiss cheese on each piece of chicken.
3. Mix cream of chicken soup with sour cream and 1 cup of water; spread over chicken.
4. Crush coarsely 2 cups seasoned stuffing mix & sprinkle over chicken.
5. Evenly drizzle 1/3 cup melted butter over top & bake uncovered at 350 for 50-55 minutes.
6. Serve with rice. YUM!
