Asian Beef Stir Fry

8 oz uncooked whole wheat spaghetti
1 tbs olive oil
1 ½ lb stir fry meat
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ onion, sliced
5 celery stalks, sliced
1 head napa cabbage, shredded
½ cup lite soy sauce
¼ cup chicken broth

1. Prepare spaghetti according to its package directions; drain & set aside.

2. While the spaghetti is cooking, heat olive oil over medium & add garlic and pepper flakes; heat for 1 minute--do not let heat get too hot or garlic will scorch and turn bitter!

3. Add stir fry steak strips and saute just until no longer pink--approximately 2 minutes. Set aside.

4. Heat a bit more olive oil in pan & stir fry onion & celery until tender. Add cabbage & cook until crisp-tender.

5. Return steak to the skillet. Add cooked spaghetti, chicken broth & lite soy sauce; mix gently & heat thoroughly.

Hey Crystal - here's a recipe for YOU! :)

Turkey Chili Salad
1/2 head lettuce (I add spinach too)
2 chopped tomatoes
4 green onions (you can also do 1/2 red onion)
3 oz grated cheddar
1 chopped avocado
1 can of ranch style beans
1/2 lb turkey
Kraft Italian dressing
3 oz crunched tortilla chips

Cook turkey with salt and pepper. Add beans w/ juice to turkey.
Mix it all together! (Use a slotted spoon to remove turkey from skillet-
it can be a little watery.)

Top with tortilla chips. Good with Fritos too. (if you are feeling naughty)

I love cooking blogs. Always fun to find a new one. Thanks for stopping by and I am sooo making those green chile chicken enchiladas. I love that you didn't add cheese inside. I am a non-dairy girl and it's always hard to find something good without the dairy. So thanks!
